WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team (1-1-0 overall) was narrowly edged out by non-conference opponent, Carleton (2-0-0) in its 1-0 loss Sunday.

The game remained scoreless through the first half.

Bailey Ulbricht scored the game-winner for Carleton at 63:35.

Junior Anna Aquino (Bettendorf) and seniors Cathy Reiter (Buckingham) and Kaylee Benning (Waverly) all registered a shot on goal for the Orange and Black.

Wartburg returns to the field Wednesday when it hosts the University of St. Thomas at 7:30 p.m.
