The Knights are back in action this weekend on Apr 10 (Fri) at the UW-Platteville Invite and Apr 10 (Fri) - Apr 11 (Sat) at the Mount Mercy Open.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its week two national polls on Tuesday, Mar. 31 with the men's team slated at No. 6 and the women's team at No. 10.

The men's team has 141.56 total points and the women's team has 130.91 total points.

The men's and women's track and field teams competed on Mar 26 (Thu) - Mar 27 (Fri) at the WashU Distance Carnival and on Mar 27 (Fri) - Mar 28 (Sat) at the WashU Invite in St. Louis. Lance Sobaski ran the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III history  to take second place in the 3000m steeplechase at the WashU Distance Carnival. Lance Sobaski was named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week, which makes him the third honoree in program history that has been named M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week during the outdoor season. Isaiah Hammerand broke the program record in the 10000m at the WashU Distance Carnival to finish in fourth place. The Knights had six event winners on the second day of the WashU Invite. Trent Polley (Javelin Throw), JoJo Tyynismaa (400m Hurdles, 100m Hurdles), Ema Roberts (High Jump), Samantha Nielsen (Javelin Throw), and Abby Veld (discus) earned event wins. JoJo Tyynismaa was named the American Rivers Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week. Tyynismaa has earned her sixth career A-R-C athlete of the week honor.
