The Knights are set to compete at the 2026 American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb 27 (Fri) - Feb 28 (Sat) in Decorah.
Last season, the Wartburg men's track and field team won their 14th Indoor American Rivers Conference Championship (dating back to 1998) with 207.5 points.
Elliott Bond won the rookie of the year. Wartburg (HC:
Marcus Newsom) won the coaching staff of the year. The Wartburg women's track and field team finished second at the American Rivers Conference Championships with 191.5 points.
JoJo Tyynismaa won the most valuable track performer award.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its week five national polls on Tuesday, Feb. 24 with the men's team ranked No. 9 and the women's team jumping to No. 12.
The men's team has 73.52 total points and the women's team has 62.20 total points.

Abby Veld each earned American Rivers Conference Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Monday. Tyynismaa has earned her fourth career A-R-C athlete of the week honor and Veld earned her first career A-R-C athlete of the week honor.
