Hall of Fame
Brian Greiner, a 2006 graduate, was a four-year member of the baseball team. As a catcher, he was a two-time Second-team All-Region selection, Second-team All-Conference honoree, and a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District selection, as well as a three-time Academic All-Conference recipient. Wartburg won four-straight Iowa Conference regular season championships and made two appearances in the NCAA tournament, where the 2005 team advanced to the College World Series. Greiner ranks in the top 10 of 12 career categories and remains the career leader in RBIs (192). He is a vice president of Pepper Construction and lives in Geneva, Ill., with his wife, Ashley, and three daughters.
