Erin was a four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams. She was a four-time first-team All-Conference cross country runner, two-time All-Region, and qualified for nationals her senior year. On the track, Moeller was a seven-time All-Conference runner and a three-time Iowa Conference champion. She qualified for the indoor nationals in 2000 in the distance-medley relay and finished as an All-American. Since graduating, she has run in numerous marathons and was a 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier. Moeller is a two-time Drake Relays half-marathon champion, placed 10th at the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials and has placed in the top 20 in three world major marathons. Moeller is an account manager at Benchmark, Inc. and a community writer for the Cedar Rapids Gazette. She resides in Mount Vernon.
