Nevada (Morrison) Curtis, a 2012 graduate, was a four-year member of the women's track and field program. She was an eight-time National Champion in the 4x400m relay (meaning she swept National Championship honors in this event at both the indoor and outdoor National Championships all four years of her career), and a three-time National Champion in the 400m dash. Morrison was a 22-time All-American. She swept the 2012 USTFCCCA Regional Athlete of the Year and National Athlete of the Year honors for both indoor and outdoor seasons for track. Wartburg won three indoor team National Championships and two outdoor team National Championships in her career. The 2012 squads set the meet points record for indoor and outdoor conference and indoor and outdoor National Championships in the recent scoring era. The Knights won eight conference team championships in her four years. Morrison still owns five school records. She is a child abuse investigator at Riverside County DHS of public Social Services and lives in Menifee, Calif., with her husband, Eli.
