Hall of Fame
Jackie Sorensen, a 2007 graduate, was a three-year member of the softball team. She is a three-time Third-team All-Region, two-time First-team All-Conference selection and was named the 2006 conference MVP. Sorensen ranks in the top 10 of 12 career categories and continues to hold the school record in shutouts (18). She also threw two no-hitters. Wartburg swept the 2006 regular season and conference tournament titles to advance to the NCAA Tournament. Sorensen was named to the 2006 NCAA Regional All-Tournament team. Sorensen is a CPA-financial analyst for Rainey Construction Company and lives in Inverness, Fla.
