Tashina (McAllister) Steggall a 2014 graduate, was a four-year member of the track and field program. She won the 2014 national championship in the 60m hurdles and finished as a 14-time All-American on the track as a hurdler and relay team member. Steggall is the program's only national champion in the 60m hurdles. She was named the 2013 outdoor conference MVP and the 2014 USTFCCCA Outdoor Regional Athlete of the Year. Steggall also still holds the school record in four events. She won six individual conference championships in the hurdles. The Knights won one indoor national championship and three-straight outdoor national championships, and four-straight indoor and four-straight outdoor conference championships in her career.
She lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband Brandon, a 2014 Wartburg graduate, and their three children. Prior to moving to Cedar Rapids, Steggall was the associate head track and field coach at Macalester College
