Hogan was a two-time All-American wrestler. He claimed the Iowa Conference title in 1992 and upped it one notch the following season by winning the national championship. The two-time Wartburg Most Valuable Wrestler is ranked seventh all-time with 112 wins. Hogan is a coach and the student life coordinator at Hawkeye Community College.
