Dr. Kris Kuper ’88
Monticello, Minnesota

Kuper was a four-time all-conference player in softball and also earned all-league honors in volleyball. She concluded her softball career with a .280 batting average, which included 30 extra base hits and 40 RBIs. In volleyball, she had a .186 career hitting percentage and 602 kills. In her junior year, Kuper earned academic all-district honors in volleyball and was an academic All-American in softball. She received the 1987 Hertel Award for Wartburg's outstanding two-sport female athlete. A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, she is now a pediatrician at the Monticello Clinic.
