Hall of Fame
Justin Hanson, a 2009 graduate, was a four-year member of the men's wrestling program. He compiled a 60-12 career record. Hanson won the 2009 national championship at 165 lbs. and finished as a two-time All-American. He was the program's first national champion at 165 lbs. The Knights won four-straight conference championships, two NWCA National Duals championships and three NCAA national championships in his career. Hanson was inducted into the IHSAA Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020. Hanson is a credit analyst for Farmers State Bank and lives in Waverly with his wife Lauren, a 2011 Wartburg graduate, and their three children.
