Wartburg College Athletics

Romeo Djoumessi, a 2010 graduate, was a four-year member of the wrestling team. He was the 2008 184 lb. national champion and is a two-time All-American. Djoumessi surpassed the 100-career win mark and has a career record of 103-7 with 12 major decisions, six tech falls and 16 falls. He was a three-time Iowa Conference champion at 184 lbs. Wartburg won the 2008 and 2009 national championships. He is a realtor with Re/Max Home Group and lives with his wife, Hannah, and their three children in Waverly.
