Hall of Fame
Kate Thompson, a 2009 graduate, was a four-year member of the women's golf team. She was a Second-team All-American, a two-time All-Region selection and a three-time All-Conference finisher. Thompson earned College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District and Third-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors in 2009, was a three-time WGCA Scholar All-American and three-time Academic All-Conference honoree. She ranks eighth on the career scoring average leader list. Wartburg won three Iowa Conference championships and advanced to the NCAA Championships. She finished 12th at the 2008 national championships. Thompson is an osteopathic medical physician and lives in Stuart, Iowa.
