Kori Stoffregen ’89
The 2008 John Kurtt Alumni Coach of the Year winner has gained fame in cross country and track and field as an athlete and coach. He earned four letters in cross country and track and field at Wartburg and was all-Iowa Conference twice in each sport.
He also picked up Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference individual titles in cross country in 1988 and track and field (1500 meters) in 1989 and was a cross country all-American and the conference’s MVP in 1988. He resides in Greencastle, Ind., where he has led the DePauw College track and field and cross country programs to 25 conference championships in 11 years.
